Common Game Issues & Fixes

Before trying any fixes below, make sure you have installed all required runtimes from:

Missing DLL Error

If you see errors such as VCRUNTIME140.dll, MSVCP140.dll, or d3dx9_43.dll, install the latest Visual C++ Runtimes and DirectX packages, then restart your PC.

Game Won’t Launch

Run the game as Administrator, update your graphics drivers, install all required runtimes, and check whether your antivirus has quarantined any files.

Black Screen

Update your graphics drivers, install DirectX, disable overlays such as Discord or MSI Afterburner, and restart your computer.

Antivirus Deleted Files

Some antivirus programs may falsely detect game files. Restore any quarantined files, add the game folder to exclusions, and re-extract the game if necessary.

Save Game Not Working

Run the game as Administrator and make sure Windows can write files to your Documents folder and game save locations.

Installer Stuck

Some installers may appear frozen while decompressing files. Wait a few minutes, disable antivirus, close unnecessary applications, and ensure enough free disk space is available.

ISDone.dll / Unarc.dll Error

These errors are usually caused by corrupted files, antivirus interference, low memory, or insufficient storage. Recheck your files, disable antivirus temporarily, and use the latest version of 7-Zip.
